We believe that God is
the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
We believe that Jesus Christ is
Lord and Savior of the World.
We believe that The Holy Spirit is
our Teacher and Guide.
We believe the Bible is
the completely reliable Word of God.
We are Christians, Disciples of Christ.
Freedom of Belief:
As Disciples of Christ, we are called together around two essentials of faith;Baptism:
1) a belief in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and
2) that Christians are free to follow their own conscience guided by The Word of God,
The Holy Spirit, and through prayer.
We as Christians through faith are expected to extend that freedom to others.
In the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),Communion:
our traditional method of baptism is by immersion;
however, if new members join and have been baptized by another method,
we respect their tradition.
At the Table of the Lord we celebrate with thanksgiving the saving acts and
presence of Christ.Fellowship:
The Lord's Supper or Communion is celebrated in our weekly Sunday Worship Service.
Our Communion Service is 'open' to all believers in Jesus Christ. You do not need
to be a member of this Church in order to take communion at our services.
John 15:13 - "Greater love has no one then this,
that he lay down his life for his friends."Meetings:
We are a connected congregation, embracing
each other, in our triumphs and tragedies.
